Allied Group Sales has been in business since July 1, 1997 when Don Kaminski and Dave Mehrer purchased the Allied Gies Agency and formed Allied Group Sales. In February 2006 Dave Mehrer sold his interest in the business to Mick Upchurch. Mick owns 50% of the company and serves as CEO.
AGS has been focused on the main priorities of our company, as defined by our mission statement. Our first priority is to employ the best-qualified and most dedicated people in the industry. We are a service organization, and the quality of our people determines the quality of service we provide. To this end, our staff bears an impressive resume of experience and achievement, having worked for top companies in the electrical industry.
Our next priority is to ensure top performance by equipping our people with the resources they need to truly excel. We have reinvested heavily in technology, including laptop computers for all outside sales people, terminals in employees' homes to allow
telecommuting, a complete office network with the latest software, and multifunctional communication devices for flexibility and accessibility.
Finally, we have set specific goals for our company and our employees, in order to define success and promote a culture of commitment to those common objectives.
