JOHN ABBERTON : VP Specification Sales - Phoenix, Arizona

John Abberton has been with Allied Group sales for over five years and is currently Vice President of Projects and Specifications. He has been in the electrical industry since 1980, having held various jobs, including: electrical apprentice in Chicago; product designer for Hydrel Lighting in Los Angeles; electrical designer for LSW Engineers in Phoenix; and sales representative positions with Hubbell Wiring Devices and Leviton Manufacturing in the southwest.

John has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Design from Arizona State University, is a RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer), and is currently working on attaining the Certified Professional Manufacturers Representative (CPMR) accreditation. He is a Certified Professional Lutron Representative for both Residential and Commercial systems.

John enjoys golf, hockey, fishing and being Irish. He lives in Glendale with his wife Kim and their daughters Erin and Kelly.
