John Marckstein has lived in the SW for 40 years and attended the University of Texas El Paso for two years.  John got his first taste of the Electrical Industry in 1982 when he worked as an electrical apprentice.  He has over 17 years with distribution experience in the El Paso market where his roles included head counterman, purchasing, quotations, inside and outside sales.  His favorite area is the contractor market.

Returning to Albuquerque in January of 2001 to work as a project coordinator for a general contractor.  John joined Allied Group Sales in January 2001 as an inside sales representative in our New Mexico sales office.  Recently promoted to outside sales John is a graduate of Dale Carnegie courses, numerous Square D courses, and is trained in Lutron Controls.

Being a single parent, John has little free time but does enjoy playing golf, fishing, and wood working with his teenage son.
